Upgrade from 1.6.x and lower

AbelCam uses a different location for the configuration files.

The Configuration Folder is

c:\documents and settings\Seiz System Engineering\AbelCam

in there you will find:

• config.xml, the main configuration file
   
• a subfolders for configured each camera
   
• debug files you created
   

Steps for a smooth upgrade:

• if you modified the templates in wwwroot:
  copy wwwroot to a safe location
   
• print c:\program files\LogiSphere\config.txt
   
• uninstall LogiSphere
   
• install AbelCam
   
• reconfigure using the sheet you printed earlier
   
• if you had your wwwroot modified:
  to take advantage of the new features, don't just copy wwwroot back
  instead, have a look at the new files to see the new includes available
   
• if you have a Pro License, you need to upgrade it to the new version.
